I just watched A History of Violence starring Viggo Mortensen.
I tell ya, I was a little surprised at the graphic nature of the sex and violence in this movie. While there certainly weren't as many dead bodies in this movie as others out there, it was pretty graphic for what I was expecting. There was a pretty cool scene where a guy got his nose bashed in. He pretty much got his shit ruined.
Also there wasn't very much nudity at all but the sex was still a bit graphic. Pretty early on in the film the main character and his wife start getting heavy with the sixety-nine position and there's a pretty good hate-fuck scene.
Maybe it wasn't as shocking as I'm making it out to be.
My head is a little funny right now because my world has been turned upside down. I have a new live-in girlfriend which has pretty much taken up all of my time. This has also changed my relationship with my best friends. I just don't get to interact with them as much anymore and I fear this has caused a strain.
Pretty strange situation but we'll just have to see how it all works out.
